Katharina
Paslawski
Born
in Poland, she realizes her studies of violoncello in
Germany with teachers Gustav Rivinius and David Grigorian,
out-standing pupil of Mstislav Rostropovich, obtaining
the Artistic Top degree and
Konzertexam postdegree. To the same time, she studied
chamber music with members of the famous string quartet
"Amadeus". She was rewarded in several contests
of young soloists in Poland, Germany and in Austria.
She
has been part of numerous master classes with the teachers
Daniel Shafran, Martin Lovett, Anner Bijlsma, Siegfried
Palm, Gustav Rivinius, as also of international cours
of chamber music with the teachers Walter Levin (La Salle
Quartet), Thomas Kakuska (Alban Berg Quartet), Eduard
Brunner, Rolf-Dieter Arens and with Pelegrini Quartet.
She
performed as soloist together with several orchestras,
among others the Symphonic Orchestra of Chile, Hannover's
Chamber Orchestra, International Orchestra of Musical
Weeks in Hundisburg.
She has offered concerts in different concert halls of
Poland, Germany, Spain, Belgium, Holland and Chile.
She
participated as soloist and chamber musician in several
international Festivals: Holland Music Sessions, Jeunesses
Musicales, Beethoven-Festival, Bach-Festival, EuroSilesia
Music Festival in Poland, Flandern Festival in Belgium,
Mozart-Festival in Wiesbaden/Germany, Festival of Contemporary
Music of Saar/Germany.
At
the moment been in Chile, she is professor of Violoncello
in the Conservatory of Music of the University Mayor in
Santiago of Chile and first solista Cello of the Filarmonica
